1) The wood used in the manufacture of our humidors is 100% cedar. The interior, exterior and all finished work are done in cedar. The use of Pacific Cedar, one of the finest woods in Costa Rica, combined with the finest craftsmanship available, make our humidors an outstanding product.

2) We use only wood from reforested areas of Costa Rica. All our cedar is cutted with the supervision and permission of the Costa Rican Forestry Chamber. A certificate of approval for use of the wood comes with each humidor manufactured by the Costa Rican Humidor Company.

3) Each humidor is handmade by highly skilled craftsmen using techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation of Costa Rican woodworkers.

4) The color finishes from the Jaguar motor car exterior color collection, can only be applied to cedar by our innovative technique of premier layering and high quality sanding, this process that allows cedar to be painted while humidor conserving its enticing odor.

5) The Sha-man humidor is supreme. In 24k gold plate, replicated, using original casting techniques, it gives you a winning combination when affixed to an exquisite cedar humidor with the Jaguar color finish.

6) Each of our humidors is guaranteed and carries the following documentation:

*A guarantee that the wood used by the Costa Rican Humidor Company is authorized and approved by the Costa Rican Forestry Chamber.

* A certification from Esmeraldas y Diseños that the native Sha-man pieces are authentic replicas of those made 1000 years ago.
